‘MegaMag Calmeze contains magnesium and B vitamins, together with vitamin C. Magnesium, thiamine, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin C all contribute to normal psychological function and normal functioning of the immune system.’

MegaMag Calmeze is a powder supplement that contains six essential nutrients – magnesium, B vitamins (B1, B2, B6 and B6) and vitamin C – and four amino acids: glycine, L-glutamine, L-theanine and L-taurine. All of these ingredients are effective at reducing stress and anxiety levels, promoting calmness and improving sleep quality.

As well as contributing to the normal functioning of the nervous system and normal psychology function, magnesium reduces tiredness and fatigue and helps prevent anxiety, fear, restlessness and irritability. The B vitamins help the body to produce energy and are excellent vitamin supplements for anxiety – particularly B6, B1 and B3. Studies have found vitamin C to be an effective remedy for stress.

The amino acids featured also have similar effects: glycine improves sleep quality and reduces fatigue; L-glutamine promotes brain health and helps with memory, focus and concentration; L-theanine reduces stress and has a relaxing effect; L-taurine helps with anxiety, calms the nervous system and helps promote sleep.

All of these ingredients make MegaMag Calmeze an ideal supplement for those suffering from stress, anxiety, fatigue, tiredness, restlessness, low energy levels or sleep issues.

The product itself is simple to use, simply mix one scoop (a scoop is provided inside the bottle) with a small glass of water – Nutri Advanced recommends around 100-250ml, depending on taste. I used a spoon to thoroughly mix in the powder and the drink turned into a beautiful shade of blood orange – you feel like you’re about to sip a cocktail!

There are three flavours available; orange, chamomile and raspberry. I tested the raspberry one, as this had the best reviews – the flavour is quite subtle but very pleasant, making it really easy to drink. The powder mixes in easily too, so there are no unpleasant gritty bits or lumps.

Overall, I think it’s a great product to help ease you during times of stress or anxiety. I wouldn’t recommend taking it on a long term basis, due to the high levels of B vitamins, but everyone should definitely keep a bottle of it in their kitchen cupboard, ready for any difficult times ahead.
